Epic will automatically install the Attach to Epic add-in in Outlook when Epic first installs.  Occasionally, some users may find that this icon in Outlook disappears.   This article will outline how to re-enable the Attach to Epic add-in icon in Outlook.


  1. In Outlook, navigate to File>Options.
  2. In the Outlook Options scree, click Add-ins in the left hand navigation panel.
  3. In the Outlook Options screen, select Disabled Items in the Manage menu at the bottom of the screen Click Go.


  4. In the pop-up menu, select Addin: AppliedEpicOutlookAddIn (asi.tam.addins.outlook.dll).  Click the Enable button
  5. In the Outlook Options screen, select COM Add-Ins in the Manage menu at the bottom of the screen.  Click Go.


  6. In the COM Add-Ins screen, tick the box for Applied Epic Outlook Add-in.  Click OK.

  7. On the Outlook Options screen, click OK.
  8. Confirm the Attach to Epic button is now showing near the top right corner of the Outlook ribbon
